The TM8260 can operate as a cross-band repeater, where the transmissions received on one radio can automatically be transmitted on the other.
The user can also receive and transmit simultaneously on two separate frequency bands without the need for manual switching. These features ensure reliable communications between a control centre and personnel at an incident scene and between the different emergency services in attendance.
